The Luxembourg government announced changes to the cannabis law, with plans to legalize the growth and use of the drug at home.
The government decision comes as part of a package of measures to fight crime and drug trafficking in the country.
The government intends to allow for any family wishing to cultivate four cannabis plants for personal use only.
The government will also allow the sale of cannabis seeds in stores, along with their import from abroad.
The law is also expected to consider allowing the production of domestic seeds for commercial purposes.
Transporting or consuming up to three grams of cannabis will not be considered a criminal offense.21Media
