The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani will represent Kosovo at the Summit for Democracy, which will take place virtually on November 9-10 and will be attended by more than 110 countries from around the world.
The opening of the Summit will be made by the President of the United States, Joe Biden, while President Osmani in her speech at this Summit will present the main points of Kosovo's commitments in the field of rule of law, international cooperation in combating autocracies. , strengthening the role of women in society and establishing mechanisms to ensure the implementation of commitments.
The Summit will be attended by world leaders, representatives of civil society and those from the private sector, while it is planned to discuss: strengthening democratic stability, prevention and fight against corruption, protection of human rights, strengthening democracy and defense against authoritarianism, defending democratic institutions, opposing digital authoritarianism and affirming democratic values.
