Within the big Italian team, Lazio, is reigning a very delicate and tense situation due to the poor form and disappointing results of the club.
The situation is aggravated even more after the loss by Hellas Verona on Sunday with the result 4-1, where all four goals were scored by Giovani Simeone.
Italian newspaper "Il Messaggero" reports that Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri asked the players if they wanted to dismiss him after the 3-0 loss to Bologna and the crisis continued against Hellas Verona.
Since triumphing over former Sarri Empoli club in the first round of matches, Lazio have lost to Milan, Galatasaray, Bologna and Verona, and have taken just one point in their last four away games in Serie A.
The newspaper claims that Sarri asked his player if they wanted his "head" after the 3-0 loss to Bologna and the story was repeated in Verona.
President Claudio Lotito has ordered the players to close in on the training center as they are in eighth place with just 14 points after nine games.
