The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, reacted after the situation in northern Kosovo, saying that they should stop immediately and that the EU is in contact with Pristina and Belgrade about the situation.
"Unilateral and uncoordinated actions that endanger stability are unacceptable," Borrell said in a Twitter post, adding that all open issues between the two countries should be addressed through dialogue facilitated by the European Union.

Today, a police operation was carried out against the smuggling of goods in Prishtina, Peja, South Mitrovica and North Mitrovica. While in all other regions the police operation passed without problems, in the north of Mitrovica organized criminal groups have gathered, created roadblocks with various means of transport, used gas cylinders, shock bombs, firearms shots and hand grenades, for the purpose of obstructing and attacking customs and police officers who have been in the line of duty./ 21Media
