The Government of Kosovo has continued to approve sanctions against the Russian Federation and Belarus. These include, among other things, freezing the assets of sanctioned individuals, banning travel and banning the transport of goods in Kosovo.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besenik Bislimi said that Kosovo is among the first countries in imposing sanctions on Russia.

At today's meeting, the government also imposed such sanctions on the Wanger Group - a Russian-based unincorporated private military entity.

The government has also reviewed the draft decision on the implementation of international sanctions imposed by the Council of the European Union regarding the taking of restrictive measures against terrorism against ISIS and Al-Qaeda and natural and legal persons, entities or other related structures. .
