Kurti discusses Kosovo's plans in NATO and the EU with US congressmen

Advocating for Kosovo's membership in NATO and the European Union, as well as increasing US investment in Kosovo were the main topics raised by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in separate meetings with Congressman Mondaire Jones and Congressmen in the US Congress, Robert Aderholt, Jim Himes, Lisa McClain and Ritchie Torres, the prime minister's office has announced through a press release.

"The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the support of the congressmen for the Republic of Kosovo, as well as for the promotion of peace, security and long-term stability for our region towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The Prime Minister stressed the Government's commitment and progress in fighting crime and corruption, highlighting the rise of Kosovo to 17 countries according to the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index, and ranking as the first in the region according to the "World Justice Project". press release.

Also emphasizing the joint commitment in advancing democratic principles, they discussed the importance of increasing and deepening cooperation in the economy, defense and security, between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America.21Media
