At the "Economist" Summit in Skopje, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was asked about the police action that took place yesterday in Peja, Pristina and Mitrovica in the north and south.

The action that created tensions, after Kosovo police officers were attacked during the intervention, was described as an "incident" at the Summit.

Kurti was asked if he would take responsibility after yesterday's "incident" in northern Kosovo?

"There can be no stability in crime. We fight criminal groups that are multiethnic, such as Albanians, Bosniaks and Serbs. "We will fight against her at any cost," Kurti replied, TV21 reports.

He added that the prosecutors who gave the orders for that action are also Serbs.

"Many of the police officers are both Serbs and Albanians. I think it is very bad to politicize our fight against crime. "We must all cooperate in the Western Balkans against organized crime, which is much more integrated than we are," Kurti added./TV21
