The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti held the first and hospitable meeting with the new Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Mission of Italy in Kosovo, Ugo Ferrero. He welcomed him and wished him success in his new task and responsibilities.

Kurti expressed his conviction that the good cooperation so far with the ambassadors of Italy in Kosovo and the Republic of Italy will only advance.

According to a press release from the office of the Prime Minister, Italy is one of the most important partners of Kosovo, for which the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the continued support it has provided to Kosovo and its people. Ambassador De Riu, who has visited Kosovo on two occasions in the past, in 1999, shortly after the end of the war and in 2009 after Kosovo's declaration of independence, said he was happy to be in Kosovo with this new responsibility. .

He thanked Kurti for the hospitality and expressed his willingness to continue the good cooperation between the two countries.
