With the spread of the new variant of COVID-19, "Omicron", people can be easily confused if they are infected with this virus, or have a cold.

The health service in Britain has listed the three main symptoms of coronavirus, which are: high fever, persistent cough and loss of taste.

But, according to the British application for the study of symptoms of COVOD-19 "ZOE Covid", even people who tested positive for COVOD-19 reported the same symptoms as the cold.

On the other hand, according to the magazine Liverpool Echo, Dr. Claire Steves during a study has revealed the top five symptoms of the Delta and Omicron variant, and they are: runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing and sore throat.

In these analyzes no clear data were found in the symptom profiles of the Delta and Omicron variants.

Only 50% of people have experienced the three main symptoms before: fever, cough and loss of taste.

Other symptoms include persistent cough, hoarseness, chills, fever, dizziness, loss of taste and eye pain.

According to the study, even the feeling of being in a bad mood can be a sign of Omicron.

But they also include: unusual muscle aches, chest pains and swollen glands. Loss of taste however now according to the study is less common.

Dr Steves has said that similar cold symptoms remain predominant in people with COVID-19. She added that the most reported symptoms are the same as the common cold, especially in people who have been vaccinated.

Finally, "ZOE COVID" has shown what a person should do to strengthen immunity. According to her, people who eat plant-based foods are less likely to experience severe symptoms of COVID-19.

But the other best way to fight this disease remains to be vaccinated against it.21Media
