Tahiri: The session for the unnecessary referendum, mockery with the opposition deputies

The head of the deputies of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Abelard Tahiri said that Saturday's session was unnecessary and he saw the same as a mockery of the opposition deputies.

"PDL was the first political entity that asked the institutions to preserve the sovereignty of the state not to allow the holding of a referendum of Serbia in Kosovo. We consider that the act of the government not to allow such an action has been a mandatory act in defense of the sovereign. "The session was unnecessary and I saw more mockery with the opposition deputies and we did not want to be part of such a session", said Tahiri.

According to Tahiri, the Government should have offered the right arguments to the country's allies to convince them of the failure of the Serbian referendum in Kosovo.

"The government has not offered the right arguments to our allies, to the United States, and we have come to a situation where we have remained silent until the last moment, and unfortunately, our allies have not been in favor. "This happened as a result of non-engagement", added Tahiri.
