The President of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has stated that the non-liberalization of visas is sad news that the citizens of Kosovo do not deserve.
He said that any delay in this regard is a serious injustice when it is known that Kosovo has met the set criteria.
"The struggle for freedom of movement for our citizens must be a joint commitment of every patriot who aims to anchor Kosovo in the community of free, democratic and prosperous nations, in the Euro-Atlantic family. LDK will exercise this role. That is why a month ago, together with MEPs and EPP delegates, we issued a resolution calling for just that. "We will do our supporting role wherever we can, whenever we can." Abdixhiku wrote on Facebook.
He further said that now it is the turn of EU countries to give the Western Balkans a clear and bold vision - Kosovo, minimal visa liberalization. "Any conclusion other than this Summit is an encouragement to the destabilizing forces in the Balkans."/21Media
