Five agreements on cultural cooperation were signed between Kosovo and Albania

Kosovo-Albania cooperation in culture and heritage, in addition to the two agreements that were signed on Friday, was concretized with five other agreements that pave the way for strengthening relations between national institutions of culture and cultural heritage of both our countries.

According to an announcement of the Ministry of Culture, the agreements that were signed at the meeting between the two delegations of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania at the National Theater of Opera, Ballet and Folk Ensemble in Tirana, are cooperation agreements between the National Library of Kosovo "Pjetër Bogdani" and the National Library of Albania, a protocol of cooperation between the Opera, Philharmonic, Kosovo National Ballet and the National Song and Dance Ensemble "Shota" of the Republic of Kosovo and the National Opera Theater , Ballet - Folk Ensemble (TKOBAP) of the Republic of Albania, cooperation agreement between the National Museum of Kosovo and the National Historical Museum of Albania, cooperation agreement between Apolonia National Archaeological Park of Albania and Ulpiana Archaeological Park of Kosovo and cooperation agreement between the State Agency of Ark ivave of Kosovo and the General Directorate of Archives of Albania.

Minister Çeku said that they are together in Tirana to express the commitment of our two ministries towards deepening mutual cooperation in the field of culture and cultural heritage.

On the other hand, Minister Margariti said that it is very significant that Kosovo and Albania on the eve of Flag Day unite Albanians wherever they are, because our institutions work together to promote Albanian culture, beauty, what makes us unique in the map of kombeve.

Further, in the course of the joint meeting, the agreements were signed by the heads of the respective institutions.

The directors of the National Libraries of Kosovo and Albania, Fazli Gajraku, respectively Piro Misha signed the first agreement that provides for cooperation between the institutions in question. The agreement includes, among others, the collection, enrichment, preservation, maintenance of the written and printed national heritage, promotion, exchange of publications and information, organization of library activities, organization of the National Library Conference and exchange of library experiences.

The Secretary General of the MCYS, Bislim Bislimi, together with Ornela Durmishaj, Director of the Apolonia Archaeological Park, signed the Cooperation Agreement between the Ulpiana Archaeological Park of Kosovo and the Apolonia National Archaeological Park of Albania; and the Protocol of cooperation between the Opera, Philharmonic, Kosovo National Ballet and the National Song and Dance Ensemble "Shota" of the Republic of Kosovo and the National Theater of Opera, Ballet - Folk Ensemble (TKOBAP) of the Republic of Albania was signed by Secretary Bislimi and the director Zana Çela.

"In the agreement for cooperation between the institutions of opera, philharmonic and ensembles, it is foreseen to create conditions for the joint realization of the performances of the institutions in question, using the additional spaces and capacities of each other. Meanwhile, the agreement on archaeological parks defines the forms of cooperation in order to promote these parks; exchange of experience and professional-scientific staff; joint research; organizing archeological exhibitions; access to the laboratories of the Parks in order to perform laboratory analyzes ", it was announced in the communiqué.

Ajet Leci, director of the National Museum of Kosovo and Dr. Dorian Koçi, director of the National Historical Museum of Albania signs the agreement for museums. The cooperation is expected to take place in mutual exhibitions of documentary materials and other forms, the realization of joint events that mark important dates of national history and culture, the exchange of publications and professional staff as well as his training and joint scientific expeditions.

The last agreement in the series of documents that was signed today was the cooperation agreement between the State Archives Agency of Kosovo and the General Directorate of Archives of Albania signed by Bedri Zyberaj, Chief Executive Officer of the Agency and Ardit Bido, General Director of the Directorate Archives of Albania. The agreement envisages the exchange of archival specialists and the unification of the service for research purposes, the development of software systems "Online Archive", "Onsite Archive" and the electronic system for financial elements that those interested in receiving archival services, payments for services performed t 'perform them electronically.
