In the framework of November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a campaign was launched "16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence", which will last until December 10th.
On this occasion, members of the Assembly of Kosovo have placed scarves, shawls and other orange symbols in support of activism against gender-based violence.
The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca said that, as in previous years, this year the campaign aims to raise awareness and raise the voice against gender-based violence in our country. Describing it as violence against society as a whole, President Konjufca called for continued solidarity and relentless efforts and actions to prevent violence against women, as well as to preserve and protect their dignity.
During this campaign, public institutions and independent local and international organizations will carry out various awareness-raising activities throughout our country.21Media
