The Mayor of Deçank, Bashkim Ramosaj informed that today he addressed the NIPHK, the Regional Institute in Peja and the Regional Enterprise Hidrodrini in Peja with the request for drinking water analysis.

He has made it known through an article that there is no room for panic.

"In the municipality of Deçan in recent days there has been frequent rain and since our municipality a year ago faced a large wave of poisoning of citizens from drinking water, for security reasons this morning I addressed the NIPHK , The Regional Institute in Peja and the Regional Enterprise Hidrodrini in Peja with the request for Drinking Water Analysis. "I ask the citizens not to worry because the situation is under control and there is no room for panic," Ramosaj wrote on Facebook.

While, The Ministry of Health has informed that today it was announced by NIPHK that, at the request of the regional enterprise "Hidro-Drini" (water supply) in Peja, samples of drinking water were taken from some villages of Deçan, due to concerns that the water is turbid as consequence of rainfall.

MoH informed that physico-chemical analyzes have been done, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they will have bacteriological analyzes of the samples.

The Ministry has announced that there is no room for concern.21Media
