Jakup Krasniqi's daughter, Gresa Krasniqi, through a Facebook post has described some exciting moments about the last meeting she had with her father in The Hague.

"On our last visit to The Hague, Dad had just finished his walk and came to the room where we meet every time. His hands were still cold, but his hugs were always warm. How much longing and pride we feel for you every day ", Gresa wrote on Facebook, where she also published a photo when she was little in her father's arms.

Jakup Krasniqi is being charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity in The Hague.

The Specialized Chambers and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office, otherwise known as the Special Court, investigate alleged crimes committed by members of the Kosovo Liberation Army against ethnic minorities and political rivals from January 1998 to December 2000.

These alleged crimes are mentioned in a 2011 Council of Europe report authored by Swiss Senator Dick Marty.21Media
