Todosijevic's case on Recak massacre returns for retrial

The Supreme Court has returned for retrial the case of Ivan Todosijevic, convicted of inciting national, racial, religious or ethnic hatred, dissension or intolerance.

According to a press release from the Supreme Court, he was sentenced to prison.

“The Supreme Court approved the request for protection of the legality of the convicted defense counsel IT, and annulled the judgment of the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department PS.nr.20 / 2019 dated 05.12.2019, and the judgment of the Court of Appeals of Kosovo - The Special Department, APS.nr.7 / 2020 dated 24.06.2021, and has returned the case to the court of first instance, for retrial ", it is said in the communiqué.

Former Minister of Administration and Local Government (MLGA) Ivan Todosijevic was sentenced to two years in prison.

He was found guilty of making statements about Albanians and the Recak massacre.
