Last night, at the Harvard Faculty Club, in the Library Room, in the presence of a large number of participants (albeit in pandemic conditions), the three-volume historiographical book "Kosovo" was officially promoted by the prominent author and historian Jusuf Buxhovi.
In my capacity as a former Harvard student and now as a representative of the Harvard Alumni Association for Kosovo together with the Albanian Students Association in Harvard, as the host of this historic event, I was extremely honored and proud of the positive response of many students and members. of our community who joined us in the promotion.
After a greeting speech by the publisher Ramiz Tafilaj (Jalifat Publishing) and Milaim Abdullahu (Santefarm), without whose help this event would not have taken place, in his address to the audience Buxhovi revealed the main points of his book, historical theses which rise and shine there, and which shatter in genesis the greatest anti-Albanian lie of the Slavs.
After all the activities in these two days, I feel more than proud that together with these good friends I managed to introduce our genuine and factual history of our nation to the top of the academic world, at Harvard University, founded in 1638.
At this time when many ropes are being broken in global geopolitics, talking about Kosovo and the Albanian nation in the dome of academic intellectualism in the US is an added value for our new Republic.
A special thanks to the 'Kosovo' Association in Boston, together with Gred Brahon (Association of Albanian Students at Harvard), as well as the owner of the ALBA Restaurant in Quincy, MA, for their support and hospitality. / ED-21Media
