The spokesman of the Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company KEDS, Viktor Buzhala, has announced that in October they imported 9.3 million euros of energy, or about 8 million more than last year.
Further, Buzhala in Click of RTV21 said that in December, when the massive heating starts, it is foreseen to impose 29 million euros of energy.
According to him, this has never happened in the history of Kosovo.
Asked if there will be power outages during these months, Buzhala stressed that KEDS is doing the best it can.
"Certainly the biggest risk is the creation of overloads, rather than shortages. "It is not known whether there will be abundant electricity in the world," he said.
Buzhala has appealed to the citizens to save maximum electricity./21Media
