The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi has tested positive for coronavirus.
Krasniqi said that although he passed the coronavirus in the fall of 2020 and received two doses of the vaccine afterwards, still less than six months after the second vaccine, he is facing a second coronavirus infection.
Krasniqi said that in the coming days he will continue his isolation and will follow the recommendations of the NIPHK.
"Days ago, my family members tested positive with Covid-19. After the third retest, I also tested positive today. So far I have mild symptoms, same as Meliza and children. In the following days he will continue his isolation and will follow the recommendations of the NIPHK. "Even though I switched to Covid-19 in the fall of 2020 and received two doses of the vaccine afterwards, less than 6 months after the second vaccine, I am now facing the second infection from this coronavirus", wrote Krasniqi in Facebook.
Krasniqi called on citizens to be careful. "Wishing you all good health, I invite you to take care of yourself and each other, now that we are in the new wave of distribution of the Omicron variant of Covid-19".21Media
