Dozens of citizens of Kosovo and Albania are repatriated from Syria

The fourth operation for the repatriation of Albanian citizens who were in the war camps in Syria has been successfully finalized. 4 women and 9 children between the ages of 6 and 16 from Albania arrived at the airport "Adem Jashari" in Prishtina together with other Kosovar citizens who left the hell camps.

They were received by the Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi together with his Kosovar counterpart, Xhelal Sveçla, the police chiefs of the two countries, Gledis Nano and Samedin Mehmeti, as well as the director of the CVE Center, Lejdi Dervishi.

The news was announced by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

"We have repatriated 13 other Albanian citizens from the hell camps in Syria this morning from Pristina. "There are 4 women and 9 children returning to the family, bringing to 43 the number of our compatriots we saved since we started this joint effort", Rama wrote on "Facebook".
