Today marks May 28, World Menstrual Hygiene Day, while the Kosovo Women's Network announces that it has sent to the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers recommendations through which it has requested the abolition of the 18% tax on menstrual products.

KWN recommends amending Law no. 05 / L-037 on Value Added Tax, as well as Administrative Instruction Mof- No. 03/2015 on the Implementation of Law no. 05 / L-037 on Value Added Tax, so that menstrual hygiene products are exempt from VAT ", it is said in the announcement. /21Media
