The Civil Service Union of Kosovo and the Independent Trade Union of Kosovo Administration have announced that tomorrow, starting at 11:00, they will protest in "Skënderbeu" square, in Prishtina, where they will demand the implementation of the salary law, budgeting of funds for the implementation of the salary law in the budget law for 2022, the general collective agreement, health insurance and other requirements.

According to the announcement, the decision to protest was made after the meeting of the executive presidencies of KCS and SPAK and after the pressure of wide membership, as well as as stated in the announcement after ignoring the basic requirements by the Government of Kosovo.

"Law on Wages, budgeting of funds for the implementation of the law on salaries in the budget law for 2022, General Collective Agreement, Health Insurance, Recognition of work experience of all public officials - CS fired unfairly and violently during work 90s, the setting of the minimum wage and the tendency to intimidate and politicize the Civil Service by amending the law on public officials assess that the Government of Kosovo is not expressing full readiness to discuss these substantive demands addressed by KCS and SPAK. Therefore, in accordance with the Law on Trade Union Organization in Kosovo, as well as the Law on Public Assemblies, the Civil Service Union of Kosovo and the Independent Trade Union of Kosovo Administration took this decision for protest, which will be held on 26.11.2021 starting from 11: 00-12: 00 in "Skënderbeu" Square in Prishtina. The number of participants will be limited due to the pandemic situation", It is said in the announcement.
