Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine had recaptured six settlements from Russian forces on Friday and 1015 in total since the conflict began in February.

"We continue to re-establish the de-occupied territories of Ukraine. "To date, 1015 settlements have been de-occupied, which is a plus of six in the last 24 hours," he said in his night speech.

It is unclear exactly how much territory these settlements make up. Zelensky described other benefits from the Ukrainian army in those areas, writes CNN, rtv21.tv reports

He also stated that "the gradual liberation of the Kharkiv region" proves that Ukraine "will not leave anyone to the enemy."21Media
